Optional website analytics

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand visits, traffic sources, device types, approximate locations, pages and sections viewed, document examples opened and contact-link clicks. A contact click does not tell us whether an email was sent. We use this information to improve the website and understand which material is useful.

Our basis for this analytics processing is your consent. Before you accept, the website does not load the Google tag, send analytics requests or set Google Analytics cookies. We do not enable advertising personalisation or Google signals.

Cookies and your choice

We store your accept or reject choice in this browser for 180 days using local storage. This preference is used only to remember your choice. If you accept, Google Analytics uses cookies with names beginning _ga to recognise browser visits. We configure a one-year cookie lifetime.

Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice at any time. Rejecting after accepting stops further analytics, removes the site's Analytics cookies and reloads the page. It does not delete data already received by Google. Browser settings can also clear stored cookies and preferences.

Information shared with Google

Google receives technical connection information when analytics is enabled, including your IP address. Google states that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. We send page and interaction labels, not uploaded school documents, email messages or form contents. Page URLs are stripped of query strings and fragments; selected campaign labels may be sent separately. Do not put personal information in campaign labels.

Website content and enquiries

Fonts and images are served from this website. There is no enquiry form: contact links open your own email application. The InspectReady product and school uploads are separate from this public website.

If you write to us

Mail sent to hello@inspectready.education reaches a mailbox run by Ally Education. We use what you send to answer you and to carry on the conversation if you want one. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not pass what you send to anybody else. Ask us to delete it and we will.

The InspectReady application itself is a separate matter from this website, and schools using it are covered by a data processing agreement rather than by this page. Ask us for it at the address above.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have written to us and we have an interest in answering. We keep enquiry correspondence for 24 months and then delete it.

Our email runs on Google Workspace, so a message you send us is processed by Google as well as by us, and may be handled outside the United Kingdom under the transfer terms in Google’s own agreement.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Write to the address above and we will do it.
